We have an immediate opening for an AP Supervisor who will oversee day to day activities of the Expense Control team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Review and approves monthly accruals, reversals, and amortization entries of Expense Control team

Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations for various prepaid, AP accrual, and tax withholding accounts- Perform monthly P&L fluctuation analysis and investigation
- Research accounting standards, guidance, and pronouncements
- Document accounting policies and procedures
- Analyze and forecast organization’s expenses
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable process including review of invoice/expense reimbursement reports and payment processing
- Manage correspondence with vendors and colleagues regarding invoice and payable/expense accounting inquiries
- Manage IRA/TEFRA withholding payments and quarterly/annual filings for state and federal requirements
- Manage annual property statement filings
- Perform other duties as required and assigned
Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics or related field
5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
Advanced knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) with strong Excel skills
- Highly organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various departments and levels of the organization
- Ability to analyze processes and improve efficiency
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Strong management and supervision skills
- Experience in Financial Services, particularly broker/dealer
