Animal Caretaker

Your contribution will be

· Monitoring the daily health, well-being and condition of all animals

· Maintaining neat and hygienic conditions of all enclosures and other facilities

· Doing daily preparation of food and cleaning of animal facilities according to the weekly schedule

· Feeding of all predators according to the weekly schedule

· Assisting with all veterinary related measures and medical treatments

· Doing daily safety check of all animal facilities

· Carrying out weekend duties according to schedule

Your profile ideally illustrates

· Minimum Matric/ Grade 12 certification

· Relevant qualification in animal husbandry would be preferred

· Previous experience in animal welfare/caretaking is preferred

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Strong time management skills

· Valid driver’s licence is essential

· Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
