What you will doLet’s do this. Let’s change the world. Reporting to a Director within the Regulatory Promotions & Material Compliance (RPMC) team, the MAC Reference Librarian will be responsible for managing the digital Reference Library and Match Text Library within the Veeva Global PromoMats system, while adhering to internal guidelines, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), policies and industry regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Identify continuous process and system improvements in an effort to save time and cost to Amgen.
- This role requires the ability to collaborate in a dynamic environment
- Manage Match Text Library including adding new records and adjusting existing records
- Manage Reference Library including adding new references and adjusting references in veeva
- Manage Amgen Label Reference documents in Veeva
- Organize annual reviews of Reference Library and Match Text Library for specified brands
- Manage the MAC Reference Library email Inbox
- Create and manage associated work instructions
- Generate Reference Library and Match text Library reports for management
- Facilitate weekly Reference Library Office Hours
- Facilitate training sessions on the Veeva Reference and match Text Libraries

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Or
Associate’s degree and 4 years of project management
Or
High school diploma / GED and 6 years of project management
Preferred Qualifications:
- An understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process and knowledge of the legal and regulatory guidelines affecting promotion of prescription products
- Experience managing digital library and medical references
- Project management experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or other Healthcare-related field
- Ability to foster collaboration, work effectively on cross-functional teams, and consistently deliver on-time
- Strong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated time management and decision-making skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Quick learner, proactive, takes initiative
- Distinguishes proper balance between strategic and tactical thinking
- Strong experience with Project Management tools, methodologies, and practices
- Proven ability to manage in a highly fluid, interactive, matrix environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Adobe products, and Veeva
- Authoritative command of complexity and ambiguity, ability to see the big picture, ability to collect, digest and assemble information to enable relevant business analysis and influence decision-making

This position will be paid on an hourly basis. The annualized base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $65,029 - $81,821.
