Le Portage Golf Club is a non for profit community golf course operating from May - October annually. We offer memberships and guests a professional, fun and safe atmosphere to enjoy some of Cape Bretons most scenic views to play their round of golf. The clubhouse has a brand new open concept kitchen.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in a professional kitchen, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals according to recipes, adhering to health and safety regulations, and ensuring that all food is of the highest quality.
Responsibilities:
- Follow recipes and prepare food according to established standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure that all food is stored and prepared in accordance with safety regulations.
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure that orders are filled correctly and on time.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff.

Salary: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
